Operations Director

About the role…
As Operations Director, you will provide leadership, set expectation and drive operations across your region of Scotland and Northern England.
Working closely with the board/owners, senior management team, sales and revenue functions and your General Managers, you will take on accountability for the commercial success and sustainability of your hotels across Scotland.
Leading a team of managers to execute a vision via their business plans, you will ensure that plans are in place, with progress monitored, to maximise sales opportunities, financial returns, drive development of people and maintain top quality guest experiences.
About you…
We’re looking for someone with prior experience as an Operations Director, an individual with experience of leading multiple managers/teams. You will be based in Glasgow/ Edinburgh or the central belt of Scotland. Additionally, you will have:
Leadership, motivation and influencing skills
Superb communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Energy and enthusiasm
Financial acumen
Emotional intelligence, tact and diplomacy
An innovative approach and the ability to solve problems quickly
Resilience when facing setbacks
Strong attention to detail
The ability to monitor and drive guest experience and related performance metrics
The ability to analyse revenue volumes and segmentation, lead generation and the performance of the team across the business
As an ambassador for our Group and multiple brands, you will display professionalism and lead by example in everything you do
Significant and detailed knowledge of the hospitality sector, including but not limited to markets, brands, agents and key influencers
A proven track record of leading managers and operations in a hospitality environment
