We're looking for a Programme Co-Ordinator to work for our client. Happy Jobs NI is working alongside Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful to recruit an organised, passionate and motivated Programme Co-Ordinator to manage programmes in line with the UK Community Renewal Fund (CRF) Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful are an independent charity dedicated to creating a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Northern Ireland by delivering on improving environmental education in every school in Northern Ireland, increasing public engagement for communities in need and raising environmental standards for the places where people spend time: where they live, work and relax. The UK Community Renewal Fund (CRF) - UKCRF Programme Coordinator will provide strategic oversight to the delivery of the climate clever communities programme delivered by keep Northern Ireland beautiful and funded by the UK community renewal fund. If you can demonstrate experience of the delivery and coordination of projects and programmes then you could be perfect for our client and we'd love to see your CV. ---- The Role: Manage work programme and provide oversight to operational activities relating to the Climate Clever Communities programme in Northern Ireland This is a fixed term appointment until end of June 2022, with possible extension subject to funding. ---- Responsibilities: - Ensuring external and internal targets relating to the climate clever communities programme are delivered efficiently, on-time and within budget. - Overseeing and taking responsibility for all operational targets, deliverables and outcomes within agreed budgets and on time relating to climate clever communities programme - Managing programme quality including where delivery is via contractors or any other third party - Making recommendations, and implement agreed actions to develop and improve programme delivery - Ensuring that the climate clever communities programme is compliant with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements - Scheduling project activities effectively to ensure the project team's workload remains on target to deliver the climate clever communities programme - Undertaking effective budget planning, monitoring and reporting on budget and work programme performance to the senior management team at keep Northern Ireland beautiful and to external funder - Developing methods of measuring the impact of the programme to enable accurate monitoring, reporting and evaluation of success, ensuring capture of robust data - Liaising with the communications team to ensure positive PR and marketing of the climate clever communities programme - Ensuring quality standards are maintained as well as accurate and thorough records of all work undertaken - Commissioning external independent evaluation of the climate clever communities programme and manage evaluation process - Meeting all contractual obligations on time and within budget ---- Requirements: - Experience of delivery and coordination of projects and programmes - Additional experience of establishing and maintaining strong and lasting partnerships and effective working relationships with stakeholders, including for example, community groups and schools - Further experience of staff management with proven ability to effectively motivate staff - A relevant degree level qualification or demonstrate equivalent experience - environmental management/sustainable development/project management/operations management - A high level of IT competence including the MS Office package - Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills - A passion or desire to work within the environmental charity sector - Able to be flexible, innovative and a keen problem solver - Energetic, driven and a confident communicator - Willing to travel and have access to suitable transport to fulfil the functions of the role ---- The Package: - Basic salary: Up to £26,000 per annum - Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful operates a blended working policy allowing some flexibility to work between home and an office in Belfast - IT equipment and support is provided for all staff to enable them to be efficient and effective in their work - Temporary post until end of June 2022 - extension subject to funding ---- Think that this Programme Co-Ordinator role is the perfect job for you?
