Operations Director (Social Care) South Wales & Herefordshire

Working with one of the leading providers of residential and specialist support services for adult care in the UK, Elite Care People are very pleased to be recruiting for an Operations Director to oversee a portfolio of regulated care provisions in South Wales & Herefordshire.
This role will oversee 14 services in total which includes residential and supported living services for those with learning disabilities and/or mental health conditions and several older people's care homes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward thinking and innovative provider of specialist adult care services, where you will have the support of their national network of care facilities.
As the Operations Director you will be accountable for the financial and operational performance of your region. This includes responsibility for leading a management team, the management of quality and care standards, cost control, commissioning, employee engagement and retention initiatives, engaging with a spectrum of stakeholders and ensuring regulatory requirements are satisfied.
To be considered for this post you must have previous experience at Senior Management level within the care sector and held accountability for a large portfolio of residential care services (10+) where you've been a direct line manager for Registered Managers with CQC or CIW. Due to the number of specialist services this role will be overseeing you must have good knowledge of the regulations for learning disability and mental health residential services. Ideally, you will also hold older persons care services experience but this in not essential.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a remote role with regular travel required for site visits and you may be required to stay away from home a few days a week - Applicants must be based in South Wales, Herefordshire or very close areas. You will also have a car and valid driving licence.
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £75,000 per annum plus £5,200 car allowance, including numerous other benefits.
