Position: Developer Location: Hampshire Salary: 35-45k Ref: (Apply online only) Our client is looking for a full-time, full-stack web developer to join them, you will be responsible for the creation of new websites and the maintenance of our existing sites (the majority of which are based on the WordPress platform). Responsibilities & Requirements Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices Work with the creative team to match visual designs Provide support to the team when producing estimates to ensure accurate costs are provided to our clients Help the team to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs Keep up with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to our operations and activities Create website layout/user interface using industry-standard HTML/CSS best practices Integrate data from various back-end services and databases Manage and record your time to ensure that jobs are on time and on budget Create and maintain software documentation Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our clients’ websites Proven experience with WordPress & WP plugin development In-depth knowledge of HTML/CSS, PHP, Javascript/jQuery & MySQL Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices Problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills Desirable Skills Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization processes and procedures, as well as Google Ads management, would be helpful but not a necessity.
