Youth Offending Team Officer

We are looking to recruit a Youth Offending Team Officer in Trowbridge.The role is paying £28.00 per hour umbrella.You will be required to work 37 hours per week - Office attendance 2-3 times per week.Duties:
* Managing a caseload of young people who have been referred to the Youth Offending Service.
* Undertaking comprehensive assessments to identify risks, needs, and strengths.
* Developing and implementing intervention plans aimed at reducing offending behaviour.
* Building strong relationships with young people, their families, and other relevant parties.
* Liaise and cooperate with partner agencies including schools, health care providers, and social care departments.
* Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken with young people.Requirements:
* A degree or equivalent in Social Work, Youth Justice, Criminology, or related field.
* Experience working with young people, particularly those who have offended or are at risk of offending.
* Knowledge of child protection procedures and legislation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt to challenging situations and deal with confrontational behaviour.FULL UK drivers license required
