Primary duties include designing, implementation, configuring maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary.If you are interested in this opportunity, we encourage you to apply today!Responsibilities:Implementing, configuring maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.Replace faulty network hardware components when required.Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.Maintain, configure, and monitor virus protection software and email applications.Monitor network performances to determine if adjustments need to be made.Confer with network users about solving existing system problems.Coordinate computer network access and use.Design, configure, and test networking software, computer hardware, and operation system software.Requirements for the Senior Network Engineer role:Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field of study.5+ years of IT Network Engineering experience working with enterprise systems.Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network security, LAN & WAN experience, preferably with Cisco, Fortinet, Arista, Aruba, and or Palo Alto.Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers.Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocolsAbility to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.High organizational skills with the ability to overseeing multiple priorities.Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S. to meet Export Control requirements.Preferred experience for the Senior Network Engineer role:CCNP or higher certification.Fortinet Certifications.Experience in network architecture review, recommendation, and design.Benefits:A competitive salary and benefits package for the right candidate.Join a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you can make a real impact.
