Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a year 6 teacher to work in the Castlecroft area of Wolverhampton. This role would be working in a 2 form entry primary school with a recent Good rating in their Ofsted.  The role would be starting asap until the end of the academic year and wouldn’t require any planning.

This role would be open to experienced teachers and strong ECT’s

This school have worked with Flourish Education for over 4 years and have a strong relationship with us as a company. They have a strong staff team and good ethos within the school

Responsibilities of the Year 6 teacher


  • Year 6 class Teacher
  • Class marking required
  • Assessments and reporting pupil progress
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff.
  • UKS2 subject knowledge
  • Follow school policy regarding behaviour management systems
  • Full time position – Monday to Friday

Skills and experience required for this Year 6 Teacher role


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of working in upper key stage 2
  • Up to date curriculum knowledge
  • Taking part and being present in staff meetings
  • Deliver creative and engaging lessons to the Year 5 class
  • To work in partnership with a Teaching Assistant
  • To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
