Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities:



·         Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire KS2 students to reach their full potential



·         Monitor and assess students' progress and keep regular records of KS2 students’ academic performance



·         Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning



·         Collaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for KS2 students



·         Prepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings



·         Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children



·         Use a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment





Year 6 Teacher requirements:



·         QTS, PGCE and strong academic record



·         Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner



·         Passionate about learning



·         Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6 environment



·         Able to communicate your passion to children and parents



·         Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
