Tradewind are looking for a Year 6 teacher to cover a maternity leave position. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic KS2 teacher who believes all children can achieve. The school has developed a curriculum that is designed to encourage children to develop an enquiring mind and a love of learning. The competitive pay rate for this position is between £140 and £210 per day, depending on experience.

To be a success in this role, you will need to:

  • Have QTS or QTLS status
  • Have experience within a KS2 setting
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality learning engagements to an excellent standard. The candidate should be committed to developing positive educational relationships with the class. Experience within an upper key stage 2 class is desirable. The role will begin in March 2024 and you will be required for the rest of the academic year.
