Year 4 Primary Teacher

Our partner school in Bolton is seeking a passionate Year 4 teacher who is looking to join a supportive and warm school community. The school believes in encouraging all children to take responsibility for themselves and has created an inclusive learning environment.

The school believes in creating cross-curricular links across different subjects to deepen pupil understanding as well as give the children a chance to apply their learning to different contexts. Ideally, you will have experience in utilising schemes of learning to create engaging lessons and be able to apply your understanding of a mastery approach in mathematics to teaching a range of abilities in your class. The school prides itself on its ability to differentiate learning to meet pupil needs by carefully analysing assessments and using the assessment for learning approach.

The school believes in treating everyone equally and respecting differences and uses a restorative approach to behaviour management to build empathy with their pupils. Previous experience using a restorative approach would be beneficial.

Essential requirements:

• Have Qualified Teacher Status
• Teaching experience in the United Kingdom
• Experience in Key Stage 2 is essential in this role
• A proven track record with references to support this
