Year 4 Classroom Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Location: Medium sized Leafy Leicestershire County Primary School, close to Broughton Astley

August 2024 - Oct 2024

Are you passionate about shaping young minds in a supportive and collaborative environment? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Year 4 Classroom Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis for maternity cover.

**Responsibilities:**

- Full-time role including paid PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) with a teaching partner

- Collaborative planning and sharing of resources with teaching partner

- Weekly break duty (15 minutes)

- Periodic assembly duty

- Attendance at staff meetings (1.25 hours per week)

- Attendance at October parents' evening (1 evening, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm)

**Requirements:**

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 4, is desirable but not essential

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school environment

- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and staff

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
