Year 1 Primary Teacher

Tradewind is looking for a Year 1 teacher for our partner school in Bury!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced Year 1 teacher to join a school that ensures all children make progress and achieve their potential in all aspects of school life. The school has designed a curriculum where children have opportunities to build solid foundations through a coherent, structured, academic curriculum that is skills driven. The school uses a mastery approach to make sure children make progress. The school has developed a clear curriculum map that outlines the key knowledge within all subjects. The school places emphasis on the wellbeing of all staff and have a robust wellness programme in place.

The competitive pay rate for this position is between £140 and £200 per day, depending on experience. You will be required for the rest of the academic year. This role is open to ECTs who are looking to gain experience in a supportive school.

To be a success in this role, you will need to:

• Have QTS or QTLS status
• Have experience within a KS1 setting
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
• Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
