WTG Package Manager

Job Description
AVA are partnered with a major offshore wind developer that has an established and growing portfolio. They are looking for a WTG Package Manager to join their team in London on a hybrid basis (3+ days a week in the office) where they will lead the WTG Package for an exciting Offshore Wind project.
Responsibilities:
• Leading a team of experts to effectively manage the WTG supply contract from tender to handover to O&M
• Monitoring and managing work package budget and risks continuously
• Ensuring adherence to the project timeline while coordinating internal and external interfaces
• Incorporating work package requirements into the project and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines
• Collaborating with other work packages and specialists, offering technical support and troubleshooting as needed
Profile:
• 5+ years of project management experience in large infrastructure or energy projects, preferably with WTG package delivery for offshore wind farms
• Proficiency in large electrical/mechanical systems
• Strong team leadership and management skills, adept at communication and collaboration across diverse backgrounds
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and remotely, and willingness to travel frequently
• Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent, additional certifications like PMP or NEBOSH are a plus
