Monday to Friday 38.5 hours per week
Working on Volvo heavy construction equipment such as wheeled loaders, articulated haulers (ADTs) and hydraulic excavators youll be part of our professional, friendly and hard-working team of engineers based within our modern and clean Machine Preparation Centre (MPC).
Responsibilities include pre-delivery inspections and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment such as hydraulics, lights, reversing cameras, seat belt warning systems and radios. In addition, youll be fitting brand new parts to new machinery such as buckets, hitches and grabs and assisting colleagues with technical support.
Your skills/experience
A formal vehicle engineering qualification or apprenticeship is ideal however experience in plant maintenance, Agricultural/HGV mechanics or Light vehicle maintenance is required.
You may be starting out having recently completed some form of vehicle maintenance apprenticeship or youre an experienced vehicle fitter/technician either way youll have the motivation to learn and develop further.
