Workshop Fitter

Overview:

MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Workshop Fitter for a local company based in Lye. They have been specialists in servicing and hire globally for the last half a century.

Duties:

• Ensure effective hire fleet management and advise any spares / repairs required.
• Ensure damage or loss processes are adhered to.
• Produce written inspection / repair information.
• To inspect, repair and maintain our Lifting Gear and Rail Hire fleet products including manual and powered hoists, material handling and hydraulic cylinders, pumps and jacking equipment.

The ideal candidate needs:

• In depth lifting gear industry based technical and application knowledge.
• Preferable working in Lifting Gear workshop environment exp.
• Good attention to details

Hours:

8am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday

Full Time - 40 Hours

Temp to Perm

Pay:

£12.50 per hour
