Workshop Engineer / Fitter /�Trainee Engineer�required to join a leading Fluid Power manufacturer near Gloucester.
The Successful�Workshop Engineer / Fitter /�Trainee Engineer will provide fitting, stripping, and rebuilding of pumps at the workshop near Gloucester.
The�Workshop Engineer / Fitter /�Trainee Engineer�will have a mechanical engineering background, such as hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, valves, compressors, vacuum systems, gearboxes, and / or similar mechanical engineering products/systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturer to grow and develop complex engineering solutions and visit customer sites to experience various industries and become a champion of fluid power products. Someone who is apprentice-trained or looking to reskill into fluid power would be greatly considered.

Workshop Engineer / Fitter /�Trainee Engineer�Role
Provide fitting, stripping, and rebuilding of pumps and fluid power equipment at the workshop near Gloucester.
Testing of fluid power and rotating equipment to component level
Maintain good quality and efficiency.
Flexibility of skills to carry out fault finding, testing, wiring and mechanical fitting.
Maintain good housekeeping, awareness of and adherence to health and safety requirements.
Ability to complete technical documentation as work progresses.
To perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
�Interpret maintenance manuals, drawings, schematics, and repair equipment, utilising specialist knowledge and standard test instruments and tools.

Workshop Engineer / Fitter /�Trainee Engineer Requirements:
Experience stripping, rebuilding, and fitting complex mechanical engineering systems, such as�hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, valves, compressors, vacuum systems, gearboxes, and / or similar mechanical engineering products / systems.
Experience in technical roles is essential, jobs such as a fitter, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer, service engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, service technician, gearbox fitter would be considered.
Ability to work to strict quality guidelines within ISO9001 and RISAS
A knowledge of safety systems such as Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments will be advantageous.
An engineering qualification would be advantageous.
Willingness to commute to the workshop near Gloucester.
