What will you undertake as a Workshop Controller?



  • Overseeing all workshop activity, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard and on time.

  • Prioritising customer satisfaction in all tasks; planning and organising workflows with the customer as a focus.

  • Ensuring maximum utilisation and efficiency of production teams.

  • Driving towards strong financial performance and strategizing to streamline operations.

  • Liasing with vehicle damage assessors, working to ensure profitability.

  • Working closely with vehicle assessment and parts teams.

  • Conducting training, leading the workshop team to bring new staff and apprentices up to the high-quality standards that you’ll be maintaining.

  • Setting Health and Safety standards and guiding everyone’s compliance to them.

  • Carrying out quality inspections.

  • Reviewing staff performance.
