We are now searching for a Service Department Manager or Mechanic or Service Advisor with strong technical knowledge within the automotive sector to join Europe's largest independent Scania dealership as a full time Workshop Controller (Manager)Salary: c.£35k-£45k + excellent benefits packageLocation: Cardiff, Wales, CF11Contract: Full time (45 hours per week) Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00The job: • At this site in Cardiff, there are currently c.18 staff working on a full time basis.You'll be working alongside a Service Advisor from the car world, a very Senior Service Administrator, 9 HGV Technicians and a technically strong Workshop Supervisor, in addition to your direct report - the Depot Manager• The shift will be Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00In a nutshell:• Liaising with the parts department (3) for customers required truck parts • Keeping provisions within the workshop such as tools and equipment up to date, being responsible for the purchase, repair and calibration etc• Financial estimations of mechanical and body repair for customers trucks and trailers• Ensure workshop is clean, organised and safe.
