Electricity North West has an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, experienced Administrator to join our inclusive team. This full-time role is based in Kendal and offers a salary of up to £36,221.08 per year with excellent benefits.
Our role
As an Overhead Lines Works Planner, you will work as part of a team to design overhead line refurbishment and maintenance projects by interrogating overhead line data and presenting the project in an approved format suitable for construction.
You will create Overhead line maintenance and refurbishment projects with Design Engineers and Design Technicians to ensure that design work packages are delivered on time.
Day to day you will:
Create scheme documentation and when necessary, create design drawings using our mapping and data collection systems;
Use our asset management tools to interrogate and analyse the collected overhead line data and progress the works in conjunction with the design technicians into a fully constructible project;
Communicate and progress elements of projects that need interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language grades A*-C or 4-9;
An excellent working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook with emphasis on Excel;
The ability to manipulate large volumes of data using advanced excel formulas and present results in various formats including graphically;
Competency in the use of CAD, and /or the company’s drawing packages.
