Works Delivery Manager - Required for our client that are based in Wigan. The Works Delivery Manager will be working on a variety of projects within the Rail Industry communicating closely with management and Network Rail. Projects include Protection Works, Station fit outs, Earthworks, canopies, platforms and many more. This opportunity has arisen due to the successful bidding on a large number of frameworks.

Works Delivery Manager Position Overview

• Working on a framework contract on LNE & LNW for Network Rail
• Projects will include a wide variety of maintenance design and build schemes.
• Responsible for the management of multiple Network Rail and Rail related infrastructure contracts
• Involved in the requisition of major items of temporary works and permanent works materials, sub-contractors, plant and equipment
• Achieve the contract delivery as per delegated levels of authority.
• Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the role will involve working on projects throughout the Eastern Region, reporting into our depot in Sheffield

Works Delivery Manager Position Requirements

• HND/ HNC in Civil Engineering
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in Civil Engineering Construction Project work within a railway environment
• Experienced in delivering high value (�30k+) works and structures within the Rail sector
• Railway Safety Training (PTS)
• Experience of Managing a Framework
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• A strong understanding of design drawings
• Commercial awareness of cost monitoring and cost value reconciliation
• Knowledge of CDM Regs and Health and Safety
• Ideally a CSCS Black card, SSSTS or SMSTS
