Role Responsibility:
WORKS ALLOCATION MANAGER
Salary: £46,000-£52,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri)
Location: Cheltenham, GL51 0EX

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for Works Allocation Manager to join our friendly team based in Cheltenham. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7.00am – 4.00pm
As Works Allocation Manager you will be accountable for the management of the CAFM to enable successful delivery of all hard FM planned and reactive works under the remit of the operational delivery teams. This includes development of the CAFM system and its utilisation within the contract, working closely with IT and Asset Team resource, as well as the Head of Service to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
Responsible for booking in all Contractors who undertake Planned, Corrective and remedial works,ensuring that these works are booked in accordance with the annual schedule.
Liaise with Procurement as required for quotations for all additional, Reactive and Corrective works undertaken by external contractors. Check all RAMS and issue Permits to work as required.
Provide weekly updates on PPM performance, repairs and items for review
To review current PPM schedules with the Asset Manager regularly and recommend any changes required. Recommend improvements where required
To ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.and provide H&S with relevant documentation for audits
Ensure all audits are supported and corrective actions are addressed within agreed timeframes.
As the line Manager for the Scheduling staff and Security escorts, provide management support, undertake PDRs, organise training and recruitment.
Ensuring that resources are correctly allocated and all work streams are supported
Development of staff to manage and effectively schedule via the CAFM system planned and corrective works to Day Operational Staff and ensure that work records are accurately returned and maintained
Contribute to development to the annual operating plan, in so far as relates to cost within area of responsibility.
Report on all health and safety incidents, accidents and near misses together with DWB’s
Deputise for Operations Manager as and where required.
Develop and maintain day to day contact with client representatives.
Adhere to corporate security policies.
Ensure the professional attitude and image in all aspects of service delivery throughout all your team.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential
Management experience
IOSH managing safely
Experience in working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment
Trade qualifications (Electrical and/or Mechanical)
Microsoft Office package.
Good IT literacy skills.
Knowledge of CAFM systems
Desirable
HNC/HND engineering.
NEBOSH or similar
Understanding of CDM Regulations 2017.
Membership of a professional body
Knowledge of Schneider BMS systems
