As a Precast Concrete Working Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of a precast concrete manufacturing facility. You will lead a team of workers, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality precast concrete components while maintaining a safe and organised work environment.Responsibilities:Production Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of workers engaged in precast concrete production activities, including mould preparation, concrete pouring, finishing, curing, and demoulding.Work Assignments: Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers based on project priorities, skill levels, and production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and timely completion of projects.Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality control standards and specifications by conducting regular inspections of precast components, identifying, and addressing any defects or non-conformities, and implementing corrective actions.Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.Training and Development: Train new employees on precast production techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the workforce.Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition and initiating necessary repairs or replacements.Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with production planners, project managers, and other departments to coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth operations throughout the precast production process.Material Management: Monitor and manage the availability of raw materials, including concrete mix, reinforcement, and formwork, ensuring an uninterrupted supply to meet production demands while minimizing waste and optimising inventory levels.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, labour hours, material usage, and other relevant documentation. Generate reports as required by management.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency enhancements, implementing best practices and recommending appropriate changes to optimize production operations.Requirements:Further education in construction management or a related field is desirable.Extensive experience in precast concrete manufacturing, with a strong understanding of precast production processes, techniques, and equipment is preferable but essential.Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to creating a safe work environment.Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among team members and interact with stakeholders.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality precast components.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.Staff Benefits: (holiday, pension etc) 22 days holiday with additional days accrued throughout time with CCP.Applying for this roleApplication and covering letter to be sent to: ##### / 01872 864808
