Working Assistant Farm Manager job - Worcestershire Full-time position on mixed 5000 acre farm based in Upton Snodsbury, Worcester.Starting ASAP.Responsibilities:Consult with and report to Business Owner on all aspects of the day to day running of the businessCommunicate and discuss with Contract Farming Partners with regards to cropping & land managementLead operations, organise and work with a small team of experienced staffCo-ordinate and implement all SFI requirements on main farm, along with contract farmsCollaborate with Landowners, Land Agents and AgronomistsLiaise with Farm Secretary on all aspects of record keeping, Cross Compliance, Accreditation requirements i.e. Red Tractor & TASCCThe candidate:A formal qualification in Agriculture an advantageProficient in Machinery operationPA1 & PA2 qualifications and experienced tractor work essentialA team leader, able to motivate and work alongside staffPractical, motivated and driven to maintain high standardsIT literate an advantageMost hold a full valid UK Driving LicenceCompetitive salary and accommodation may be provided for the right candidate.For further information, please apply with CV and cover letter.
