The Workforce Learning and Development Team play a pivotal role in enabling effective service delivery for all departments at Bradford Council with a huge agenda and a real chance to make difference to employees across the whole organisation.
Due to the retirement of the current postholder, a strong, tenacious leader is required to drive significant work programmes forward, from the procurement of a new Learning Management System, to delivering annual reports to Overview and Scrutiny Committees on Workforce Learning and Development activity across the organisation and much more.
From Apprenticeships to a newly designed graduate programme, staff surveys to our annual Service Excellence Awards (think Bradford Council’s Oscars!) the work is diverse and challenging.
