Join us to build the digital economy of tomorrow.Job DescriptionThe role:Within Checkout.com, we're transforming the way our financial platform operates. As our business grows in scale and complexity, we seek an additional resource to primarily support managing a key financial system, Workday Accounting Center (WAC).To make this successful, we need a London-based WAC specialist to join our Finance Systems Support team to handle error management, configuration/ optimisation and onboarding. You'll work closely with our Finance, Engineering and Product teams to understand business requirements and changes to ensure WAC is optimised for our reporting, reconciliation and controls needs.How you'll make an impact:Managing the WAC platform, which will include:- User onboarding/ offboarding and User Support- Security audits- Integration management and release management- Updating/ creating new mapping tables- Performance monitoring and reporting- Updating master data (e.g. custom organisations, revenue categories)- Configuration/ optimisation, including testing and error handling- Responding to Checkout.com colleague questionsWork closely with Finance teams to understand the daily BAU activities.Provide advice and support to the Senior Finance Systems Manager on all financial processes and procedures.Support other Transformation projects to deliver on the Finance Transformation agenda.Managing on-call support for outage incidents and providing regular updates to affected stakeholders and business owners.Collect requirements and implement changes into WAC for continuous improvement projects.Support documentation and knowledge database for WAC workflows and processes.Create/maintain new and existing reports or Dashboards in WAC/ Workday Financials.Work closely with Finance Systems Support and architecture teams to improve the ways of working in WAC and Workday Financials.Carry out basic admin tasks (incl. Open/Close periods, security assignments, open bank accounts, create ledger accounts, creating cost centres etc.) for Workday Financials.Maintain WAC and Workday Financials documentation and support workflow changes.QualificationsWhat we're looking for:Experience with Workday Accounting Centre, Prism and Workday Financials systems and implementing features within those systems.Whilst not essential, it would be beneficial if you have Payments/FinTech experienceBeen involved in working with ERP software and sophisticated integration ecosystems.Experience with SQL and databases.Have a good understanding of the Finance record to report and month end close procedures.Experience working in a complex Finance accounting/reporting environmentKnowledge of control environments well, which can be used to provide evidential standards.Understanding of ITGC's and how these can be set up and maintained for SaaS systems.Willingness to learn other systems such as Workday Adaptive.Be able to translate technical language to Finance and Finance language to Product and Tech teams, bringing clarity and alignment.Be proactive and autonomous, able to identify issues independently and drive creative solutions in a complex, dependency-heavy environment.The ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling, and succinct way in written and verbal communications, effectively influencing a wide variety of audiences.You have a natural and authentic ability to engage and work in collaboration with people from various backgrounds and culturesAdditional InformationApply without meeting all requirements statementIf you don't meet all the requirements but think you might still be right for the role, please apply anyway.
