If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!About the roleWe are looking to appoint a Work Based Trainer with industry experience and skills within Metal Fabrication, Welding and Pipefitting to join a well-established apprenticeship team. A fast-paced role in which you will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will provide high quality and responsive training, support, coaching and mentoring to a caseload of apprentices, developing their knowledge, skills and behaviours and prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment. This is an exciting role, within an employer responsive provision which puts community at the heart of its operations.Duties will include:Managing a caseload of apprentices ensuring timely achievementCoordinate all aspects of the apprenticeship programme, working closely with all internal and external stakeholdersEnsuring on and off the job is contextualised and meets the required standardsRegular attendance in the workplace to support the development of knowledge, skills and behavioursMonitor learner progress and ensure regular reviews are completedProvide excellent customer service and engage employers at all stages of the apprentice journeyProvide training, support and guidance in preparation for end point assessmentMaintain learners records accuratelyComplete all required administration, including e-portfolio and college record systems and processesAbout the personCandidates should have:An apprenticeship or other relevant industry related qualifications at level 3 or aboveIndustry experience within fabrication, welding, and pipefittingICT competency Desirable but not essentialTAQA/Assessor awardTeaching or training qualificationsKnowledge of apprenticeship standardsThe successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service, as well as strong organisational and administrative skills.
