Womenswear Designer

An established fashion brand in Manchester are looking for a Womenswear Designer focusing on Dresses and Occasionwear to join their growing design team.
The Brand
They are a small but growing brand based in Manchester & they are looking for a Womenswear Designer to join their team. Their customers age vary from 18 to 30 years old and they are known for their quality and trend led pieces.
The Role
Create detailed CADs and tech-packs for team and supplier use
Create and regularly update linesheets per collection
Carry out fit sessions on new development and make comments/adjustments accordingly
Pattern cutting and photo-type sample creation when necessary
Liaise with Suppliers and Manufacturers to implement design adjustments and sizing amendments
Create trend boards and provide trend forecasts for the wider creative team
Assist with repeat pattern and print developments
About You
Experience working in design preferably within womenswear ideally dresses or other occasionwear
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong proficiency in in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Excel, and Microsoft Office
