Women's Accessories Product Developer

This dynamic, premium womenswear brand is going through an exciting period of growth at the moment, looking to strengthen their Product Development team; we are looking for an established Technologist or Product Developer to join the team. You will work closely with the Senior Management and Design Teams, managing the entire development process for contemporary womens accessories, you will be responsible for leading fit and quality, as well as testing and approvals, sourcing, costing and negotiations. This is a pivotal role is a rapidly growing brand.
Women's Accessories Product Developer - The Role
Manage the development and approval process, across new styles, fabrics, components and trims. Manage testing and brand quality standards and supplier compliance Develop commercial, quality driven ranges for the global market Manage the approval process across sampling, fabrics, trims, lab dips, and garment testing and build strong relationships with the suppliers and internal design and tech teams. Negotiate costs, maintain target prices and increase margin when possible. Create and compile tech packs, with construction and manufacture information and BOM. Lead fits and give comments to suppliers Manage and update the Critical Path daily and adhere to all deadlines. Research and work with teams to develop new products / fabric innovations or manufacture processes, regularly sourcing newness Cross cost and identify best price manufacture routes. Experience in a similar PD or Technical role is essential, ideally within premium womenswear Expertise in Accessories is essentail. You will have excellent knowledge of manufacture processes and methods, as well as fabrics attributes, quality and testing. Excellent communication skills You will be highly organised and process driven You will be self-motivated and a team player. Excellent organisation and numeracy skills are required.
