Recruit121 is excited to collaborate with a global retail company (Based in Cambridge) in their search for a talented WMS Consultant to join their team.
It’s a great time to join as they are yet to kick off their WMS implementation project plus they have an S/4HANA Greenfield planned for later this year!
Tasks
As a Warehouse Management System Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in the implementation of a cutting-edge Warehouse Management System across multiple distribution centres. Collaborating closely with the IT Team, you'll serve as the bridge between IT and Distribution, acting as a designated "super user" for the new system.
Conduct thorough analysis of current operational workflows/processes within distribution centres in preparation for the new system's implementation.
Provide extensive support for testing, configuration, and optimization of the new system across distribution centres.
Offer hands-on support for system process changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Resolve system issues efficiently, working closely with IS and providing ongoing support to Distribution teams.
Develop comprehensive training materials and programs to facilitate smooth transition and adoption of the new system.
Analyse business processes, devise new processes, and refine system configuration.
Oversee testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure the integrity and reliability of implemented solutions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
Track record in successfully rolling out WMS solutions in distribution centres
Communication and people skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous eye for detail.
Adaptable to rapidly changing priorities.
Blue Yonder, SAP WM or SAP EWM experience would be strong asset.
