PART TIME - Saturdays and Sundays - 1:30pm - 11pmIf you're seeking an engaging part-time opportunity within the Public Sector that seamlessly aligns with your schedule, we have an opportunity for you! Our Public Sector Client situated in Kings Lynn are looking for a Welfare Officer to join their team on a Part Time Temporary basis. As a vital member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the seamless running of the general organisation. This is a Temporary position, however, is very likely to be extended.Key Responsibilities:Support learners by facilitating opportunities for them to engage in a wide range of personal development activities such as learning from external speakers.Carrying out activities in the local community and recreational activity.Create and maintain an inclusive, vibrant, and social environment during break times and outside of training hours.Track and monitor learner personal development activities and gather formal feedback from the learners on their effectiveness.Provide learners with impartial careers information advice and guidance relating to career progression opportunities using the resources and information available via the Careers Specialist.Provide physical and mental well being support to learners and provide curriculum delivery teams with information regarding their individual needs.Requirements:Good level of education, minimum 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) including maths and EnglishExperience working with 16+ age group, preferably within an education settingIT literate with proficiency in systems like SharePoint and Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skills, both written and oralAbility to deliver exceptional customer serviceMust have the ability to travel to sites when required.
