For the successful Welding Team Leader our client is offering:£14.48 - £15.48 per hour (OT £21.72 - £23.22 available at x 1.5 after 39 hours)Day shifts - 6 am - 4:15 pm (Monday to Thursday)Temporary to Permanent positionPensionThe role - Welding Team Leader:Take responsibility for the department in the absence of a Line SupervisorEnsure work is carried out in accordance with the correct date order from the production
scheduleEnsure machines and operators are operating in the most efficient mannerEnsure area housekeeping is to standard and tooling is utilised correctlyLook for ways to improve processes and actively participate in improvement activitiesSuggest and help implement cost saving initiativesEffectively communicate daily safety/production needs to managementAdditional projects and roles as assignedWhat our client is looking for in a Welding Team Leader:Experience in a fast-paced production environmentPCN Level 1 Inspection certification or equivalent - ESSENTIAL5 years MIG welding experience - ESSENTIALBe able to work in a physically demanding environmentPC proficientSAP knowledge Key skills or similar Job titles: Production operator, Assembly Operator, Fitter, Using hand tools, using power tools, automotive manufacturing
