Welding Team Leader

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Automotive Sector Manufacturing Company in their search for Welding Team Leader to work in their Wrexham based facility
For the successful Welding Team Leader our client is offering:

• £14.48 - £15.48 per hour (OT £21.72 - £23.22 available at x 1.5 after 39 hours)
• Day shifts - 6 am - 4:15 pm (Monday to Thursday)
• Temporary to Permanent position
• Pension

The role – Welding Team Leader:

• Take responsibility for the department in the absence of a Line Supervisor
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the correct date order from the production
  schedule
• Ensure machines and operators are operating in the most efficient manner
• Ensure area housekeeping is to standard and tooling is utilised correctly
• Look for ways to improve processes and actively participate in improvement activities
• Suggest and help implement cost saving initiatives
• Effectively communicate daily safety/production needs to management
• Additional projects and roles as assigned 

What our client is looking for in a Welding Team Leader:

• Experience in a fast-paced production environment
• PCN Level 1 Inspection certification or equivalent - ESSENTIAL
• 5 years MIG welding experience - ESSENTIAL
• Be able to work in a physically demanding environment
• PC proficient 
• SAP knowledge
