Welder

Are you an experienced MIG welder? Do you live near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk? If yes, then please apply for this exciting opportunity below!
We're looking for a MIG welder fabricator to join a leading specialist manufacturer in the area as they continue to see growth into 2024!
The starting salary for this welder role is circa �13.50ph, with a pay review available subject to a successful probationary period, overtime is also available throughout the week.
Welder duties: -

• Receiving work orders from the Team Leader and complete each order in a timely manner
• Jig work and MIG welding of components into weld assemblies to a high standard i.e., burr free, neat welding with good penetration, in line with the engineering drawings
• Fabrication of mild and stainless steel components
• Safely operate workshop equipment i.e., band saws, mills, lathes, drills, break presses, punching machines, welders, plasma cutters, guillotines etc. to make the required components
• Ensure workshop equipment is well maintained

The standard working hours are 08:00-16:30, Monday-Thursday with an early finish every Friday!
