Welder Fabricator

We are looking for an experienced welder fabricator to join this specialist manufacturer based just outside of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
If you are experienced in MIG welding and fabrication work then you could be the perfect fit for this role ideally having worked with stainless and mild steel however sheet metal experience will be considered as well.
The starting salary for this welder fabricator position is circa �14.20, however depending on the experience of the candidate this could start at �15.20. Overtime is also consistently available at increased rates of pay!
Welder Fabricator duties: -

• Receiving work orders from the Team Leader and complete each order in a timely manner
• Jig work and MIG welding of components into weld assemblies to a high standard i.e., burr free, neat welding with good penetration, in line with the engineering drawings
• Fabrication of mild and stainless steel components
• Safely operate workshop equipment i.e., band saws, mills, lathes, drills, break presses, punching machines, welders, plasma cutters, guillotines etc. to make the required components
• Ensure workshop equipment is well maintained

Due to the location of the company you will need to have your own transport.
The standard working hours are 08:00-17:00, Monday-Friday
