A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced welder / fabricator to join a leading innovative company who are at the forefront of support products. This company pride themselves on their continuous development and improvement of the processes and production equipment. This person would join a well balanced team working in a highly, professional and regulated industry.
Role & Responsibilities:
MIG & TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, typically from 1mm up to 20mm thick
Working to engineering drawings.
Follow Safety, Health and Environment Rules and Responsibilities.
Checking that finished products comply with specifications.
Dressing, finishing, marking and identifying materials.
Knowledge & Experience:
Completed Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Metal fabrication.
Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse environment.
Understanding of Lean principles desirable
