We are currently recruiting for a number of Welders for positions based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Our client is one of the largest and most successful steel-work contractors in the UK, they have recently won a large amount of work so are looking to extend their workforce.
The successful applicants will ideally have structural steel welding experience. You will be responsible for achieving high quality standards in a safe manner within the production time scales.
- �240 weekly accommodation allowance( Day Shift),
- Additional accommodation allowance paid if work overtime.
- Accommodation allowance only available to contractors
Shifts:
* Day Shifts - Monday to Thursday - 7am to 5:30pm and Friday - 7am to 1pm

Perm Salary:

Days �42'218.
Pay Rates:

Umbrella

Days - �22.08 (increase at 12 weeks to �23.11)

PAYE

Days - �17.65

Overtime rates available.
Candidates must be prepared to go on site for a weld test.

The weld test will include 135 Mag Welding Process.

Test 1 - 8mm Single run Fillet Weld.
Test 2 - 10mm Multi run Fillet Weld.
Test 3 - Double bevel full Penetration Butt Weld.

All tests are carried out on 15mm thick plate in S355JR mild steel.

Please note: This position is subject to a Drugs & Alcohol test
