Job Title: Weighing Equipment Field Service Engineer
Location: North East England / Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: �30,000 - �32,000 (Basic Salary) + Overtime Available

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team in the North East.
Role Overview:
As a Weighing Equipment Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the calibration, service, and repair of lab scales and medium-sized scales within the North East region. The role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to ensure the highest level of satisfaction among our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform calibration, service, and repair of lab scales and medium-sized scales in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Conduct UKAS calibration services ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize equipment downtime.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including calibration certificates and service reports.
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and product enhancements.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the weighing equipment industry.
Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the Midlands region.
Proficiency in UKAS calibration procedures and standards.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair technical issues.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
