About the role
As Wedding & Events Coordinator you will be responsible for all aspects of wedding sales and administration from the initial enquiry through to the day of the event. In addition to the focus on Weddings you will have the flexibility and drive to organise and liaise with corporate guests for daily Meeting bookings and other Sales opportunities.
You will be responsible for driving and developing wedding & event business into the Hotel by pro-active sales activity.
This role will also involve organising onsite wedding fairs and attending exhibitions as required. You will be required to provide factual and informative show rounds providing clients with the full range of venue possibilities available to them.
As a Wedding & Events co-ordinator you will be passionate about people, have a personalised approach, be an excellent and confident communicator by telephone and face to face, providing a warm and professional service to our prospective bride and grooms.

Sales experience is desirable though not essential, as you will be involved in a number of proactive activities with a focus on gaining new business.
You will need a flexible approach to your working hours which will include working some evenings and every wedding weekend to meet client appointment requirements.
