Web Developer

This is a UK based role, at least 1 day per week in the office*
Pyramid8 are recruiting for an experienced Web Developer to work for a forward-thinking provider of software, website Design and Digital Marketing Services who supply to hundreds of specialist business throughout the UK. We are looking for a web developer who is passionate about their work and will report into the Head of Engineering and work on new applications that are to be launched later this year.
Their team uses modern workflow management software (Atlassian), the work is a mix of enhancements and fixes for existing software and the development of new solutions. New requests for work will come via different teams within the business that are client-facing, the work is to solve a current client need with innovation being a core value.
The role will involve both front-end and back-end development, our client is flexible on the candidates having front-end, or back-end focus as their vision is to on board the right candidate for their team.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
1. Working with MVC frameworks e.g. Laravel or Zend within a commercial setting.
2. Good knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, modern libraries and frameworks.
3. Expertise in PHP, JavaScript, or both.
