Job Description
My client is a multi-award-winning, dynamic marketing, digital, and creative agency with nearly 30 team members. They collaborate with diverse clients across various industries, delivering innovative solutions tailored to their needs. The Role:
They are seeking a skilled web developer with a minimum of one to two years of commercial experience to join their expanding web team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a range of website projects, primarily online profile sites and eCommerce platforms for their diverse client base. The projects typically involve implementing designs created by their in-house design team. They primarily operate within the WordPress CMS environment using PHP.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain websites using WordPress and PHP.
Collaborate with the design team to implement website designs efficiently and accurately.
Ensure websites are responsive, performant, and meet client specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in web development.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in HTML, PHP, and WordPress.
Ability to work independently and efficiently without extensive supervision.
Advantageous but Non-Essential Skills:
Knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, SQL, Drupal, Magento, Laravel, React, and Webpack would be beneficial.
