We are looking for someone with a strong passion and technical aptitude for web app development. This person is vital to the delivery of a sophisticated client portal that is vital to Yoyo’s unique selling proposition. If you are proactive, have a sense of urgency, like technology, and are naturally a problem solver, we would love to hear from you.Job SpecificationsCollaborate with the product, design, and marketing teams to understand the business goals of Yoyo Wallet and their customersDevelop online dashboards and visualizations as well as creating and maintaining custom applications to move data between systems and databasesComplete day-to-day design or front-end tasks that keep the website thrivingContribute in taking our CRM platform to the next levelParticipate in the conception, design, prototyping, implementation and maintenance of our platformDevelop SDK and API capabilities to build new and enhance existing systems and interfacesContribute to the ongoing development of our software development processesREQUIREMENTSBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or related field5+ years working in start up and/or entrepreneurial corporate environment3+ years professional experience with web developmentExtensive experience with HTML5/CSS3Professional experience with AJAX and third-party APIs (e.g. Facebook, Flickr, Twitter)Experience with Django (Python) and Wordpress (PHP) are usefulExpertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar web toolsHands-on experience with PostgreSQL or MySQLExperience developing code for complex, database-driven websitesUnderstanding of data mining/warehousing principles and practices, especially as applied to a business intelligence environment, is highly desiredExperience with Git or similar distributed source control systemsApplied experience with Agile development methodologiesExposure to XML/JSON formats and their usage in distributed systemsExperience testing software (Functional, Performance, and Unit Testing)Strong attention to detail with demonstrated project management skillsPersonable, enthusiastic, and articulateEntrepreneurial outlook and spirit with ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environmentPrevious exposure to mobile payment or mobile application industry is an assetAbility to manage competing timelines and priorities in a composed fashionProven experience working independently to meet project requirements with minimal supervisionLocationBENEFITSGet £100 per month in Yoyo credit to spend at Yoyo retailers (thats coffee, tea, and food!)Competitive salary packagesWork on challenging real-world problems of which you can take ownershipBuild something today and see it in others hands tomorrow
