Job Title: Water Technologist Location: Heathrow area Duration: Full time and permanent Salary: £32,000 - £39,000 p/annum Reed Scientific is recruiting for a WaterTechnologist for a client based in the Heathrow area. In the role, the Water Technologist will completeLegionella sampling to best practice, and utiliseinternal systems to document & monitor Legionella related works. The Water Technologist will be able to independently follow and document Legionella positive response process and competently carry out LCA audit checklists. They will take guidance from the Operations Leader and will service, recommend changes, report and
communicate treatment performance with customer representatives in accordance with the commercial agreement. Responsibilities
Calibration of personal & onsite equipment and generation of calibration certificates as requiredSpecialised maintenance of propertyas well as third party technology & equipment.Operation of dosing pumps – changing dosing rates as required based on onsite test results and ability to safely prime if required.Diagnose issues found onsite and escalate or rectify as required.Diagnose warning/error messages on control equipment and rectify.Utilisation & engagement of the company'sdigital data visualisation platform, InSight, to generate CSRs, manage trends andalarms, inventory stocks, add parameters & assets as required and escalate any issues as required. (Training will be provided on
all the computer systems)Install and set up tank level sensors and link to remote tank monitoring.Troubleshoot and rectify connection issues with monitoring equipment.Communicatewith customers & wider team, as well as raising issues with Operations Leaders and Commercial colleagues as required.CompleteandsubmitConsultant Service Reports (CSRs) within agreed timescales and ensureCSRs always detail the Observations, Consequences and Actions for the customers attention. Qualifications/Requirements
Preferred Chemistry/Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent scientific degree qualification.UK citizenship is essential due to the high level of security at this siteA DBS check will be carried out on the successful candidateAvailability to travel within assigned area, including overnight stops.Possession of valid UK driving licenseAbility to effectively support multiple managers and teamsGood organisation, communication & interpersonal skillsGoal oriented self-starterTools Proficiency with PC skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply online.
