Water Quality Assurance Engineer

Are you a dedicated Water Quality Assurance Engineer with a commitment to maintaining the integrity and safety of water networks? We are excited to offer you a pivotal role within our Field Team. As a Water Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be instrumental in the testing, chlorination, and sampling processes, enabling the successful commissioning of new Water Networks across England.



Qualifications and Experience Required:




  • Certification in Water Hygiene

  • Proficiency in water mains chlorination, testing, and sampling

  • Possession of a Water Safety Passport

  • Full UK driving licence



Key Responsibilities:




  • Implement, examine, chlorinate, and commission water infrastructure in accordance with Client Water Codes of Practice.

  • Uphold high standards of safety and technical quality, adhering to method statements, work procedures, and safety guidelines.

  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of IWNL Testing, chlorinating, and Sampling procedures.

  • Maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment in optimal condition, reporting any defects to the Project Manager.

  • Identify contract variations promptly and report to the Project Manager, adhering to company procedures.

  • Carry out daily site-specific risk assessments, ensuring a safe working environment.

  • Participate in “toolbox talks” and other mandatory training courses.

  • Document precise details of work performed.

  • Submit relevant work details for record-keeping and invoicing within the stipulated timeframe.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager within the individual’s general experience scope.
