JB314: Water Hygiene Technician

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Water Hygiene Technician on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Water Hygiene Technician:
- Using your experience of completing water hygiene PPM tasks, aseptic sampling techniques and plumbing skills, you will assist in delivering exceptional services to protect clients.
- Knowledge of the current legislation, guidance and British Standards for water hygiene is key to perform your duties to the high standard clients expect.
- You will be joining our nationwide, high-skilled team primarily to aid the collection of water samples in line with BS7592:2022 and delivering them to UKAS accredited laboratories.
- You will also be regularly involved in PPM tasks including (but not limited to) TMV/TMT servicing, cold water storage tank cleans and disinfections, installation/servicing of specialised drinking water dispensers within public and private healthcare settings.
Skills and Qualifications for the Water Hygiene Technician:
- Water hygiene PPM and sampling experience, using aseptic techniques in line with BS7592:#####, HSG 274 and HTM 04-01.
- Plumbing experience.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly competent numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- Presentable, methodical and having excellent attention to detail whilst being capable of
- independent working or working as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, professional attitude, skilled in building rapport with customers.
- Driving licence and willingness to travel.
