WATER HYGIENE TECHNICIAN OR WATER TREATMENT ENGINEER NEEDED FOR REMEDIALS WITH GROWING LEGIONELLA AND WATER SAFETY SPECIALIST.

TITLE: Water Hygiene Technician – Water Treatment Remedials & Legionella Safety

PACKAGE:
£28,000 - £33,000 salary – depending on experience.
Opportunity for overtime.
Van for personal use.
Tools, PPE and fuel provided.
Holidays and pension scheme.

HOURS:
40 hours - hours start once on the road, 1.3x overtime during the week, 2x overtime over the weekend
Travel around the UK - average 1 or 2 nights away a week

LOCATION:
North West England – Warrington, Preston, Liverpool, Manchester, Wirral, Wigan, Salford etc. are all suitable

ROLE:
Water Hygiene Technician – Water Treatment Remedials & Legionella Safety
You will performing closed system analytical testing and remediation, tank cleaning, TMV servicing, shower cleans, draining and calorifier inspection and cleaning.
The role involves traveling in and around the North West such as Merseyside, Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire.

EXPERIENCE:
Water Hygiene Technician – Water Treatment Remedials & Legionella Safety
You should ideally have 3 years’ experience in a role performing water hygiene maintenance tasks such as closed system analytical testing and remedials, tank inspection and cleaning, TMV / valve servicing and water sampling.
A plumbing qualification would be highly advantageous.
Familiarity with ACOP L8 guidelines and legionella awareness training would also be beneficial.
You should be looking to develop your skills and eager to improve.
For this role you must be happy to travel around the UK.
You must have a valid UK driving license and 2 years’ experience driving.
