Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire.
Salary / Benefits �22k - �35k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a longstanding and successful Water Hygiene / Water Treatment company who have a national presence. They are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover Heavy Industry, Commercial, and Healthcare sites across the UK. This role would suit someone who is confident in carrying out L8 compliance duties, and is looking to expand their experience and knowledge into steam boilers, cooling towers and water chemistry. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be happy to travel nationally in line with company / client requirements.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Wellingborough, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Brackley, Bletchley, Luton, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Oxford, Buckingham, Bicester, Witney, Abingdon, High Wycombe, Peterborough.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have hands on experience working as an engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Water Treatment company.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Will have excellent communication / time management skills.
" Familiar with using onsite logbooks.
The Role:
" Undertaking water sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" Closed system sampling and analysis.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" Carrying out flushing of little used outlets.
" CWST cleans and inspections.
" Ensuring onsite logbooks are up to date and accurate.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
