Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland
Salary / Benefits: 22k - 30k, Company Vehicle, Regional Work
We are currently working with a growing and successful water hygiene company, who are recruiting with an experienced water hygiene engineer to cover contracts across the Central Belt of Scotland. The successful will have experience carrying out a wide range of legionella management services to a varied client base. Experience undertaking basic legionella risk assessments would be beneficial for the role. In return, the client can offer a competitive salary and regional work.
Consideration will be given to candidates based in; Glasgow, Paisley, Clydebank, East Kilbride, Coatbridge, Hamilton, Bellshill, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Edinburgh, Livingston and the surrounding areas.
Experience;
- Experience working within an established Water Treatment / Hygiene or Legionella company.
- Confident working on domestic hot and cold systems.
- Experience carrying out legionella compliance task.
- Good working knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG.
- Legionella Risk Assessing qualification and onsite experience (desirable).
Role:
- Temperature monitoring on Hot and Cold-Water Systems.
- Water sampling.
- Showerhead cleans and disinfections.
- Carrying out works on calorifiers including inspections, flushing and temperature monitoring.
- Disinfections and chlorinations.
- Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
- TMV inspection, testing and servicing.
- CWST inspections.
- Basic remedial works on domestic systems including Dead-leg removals.
