- Qualifications/Training:
- H&S Induction Training (Essential),
- Commitment to Quality, H&S and Environment Training (Essential),
- British Water (Packaged Sewage Treatment Plant Maintenance Service Engineer Accreditation) (Desirable),
- Electrical Training (Basic Electric Awareness) (Essential),
- CSCS or equivalent (Desirable),
- Confined Space Entry (Essential),
- Asbestos Awareness (Essential), and
- Manual Handling (Essential).

Carry out PPM servicing, breakdowns, and quoted works as directed by the Service Department. Specifically responsible for:
- Liaison with customers regarding times and dates of visits,
- Ensuring monthly PPM servicing is carried out on sites,
- Ensure breakdowns are attended in a timely manner,
- Provide suitable information to allow for quotes to be generated by the Service Department,
- Organise and carry out quoted works in a timely manner,
- Document work carried out using BigChange Job Watch (or paper service sheets if tablet is non-operational),
- Ensure paper job sheets (where used) are returned to the office in a timely manner (at least weekly),
- Maintain tools, notifying office of any damage/replacements required,
- Ensure van stock is maintained and documented,
- Ensure van is maintained in a safe working condition, kept clean, and any damage reported,
- Report all Health, Safety & Environmental incidents including any near miss,
- Complete daily timesheets in line with company procedure, ensuring they are returned to the office weekly, and
- Any other duty as reasonably requested by the line manager commensurate with the post.
- The basic rate of pay on an 8-hour day.
- Daily overtime rates apply at time and a third after 8 hours and time and a half after 10 hours.
- Saturdays are paid at time and a half and Sundays at double time.
- Paid door to door.
- We pay a lunch allowance�
- Tank entries are paid at �25/entry, and
- On call is paid at �10/day (double time if called out).
