On behalf of our prestigious client, we are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager based at a family-run e-commerce operation.
Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager based in Newark.
The rate of pay is £25,000 -£29,952 per annum.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, the hours of work are:
- 9am to 5pm
- 7am to 3pm
Dependent on the area
Experience in a similar role is required.


Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Team Manager, your duties include:
- Assessing daily work expectations and confirming the ability to achieve – escalate if there are concerns
- Monitoring SLAs and proactively adjusting the strategy to ensure volumes are achieved
- Managing both internal and external customer expectations ensuring we deliver 100%
- Leading and developing your team
- Enforcing Health and Safety across the site
- Promoting a positive working environment and a culture of development and improvement
- Reviewing performance and support the Management team with any underperformance through
determining the best form of intervention
- Dealing with daily challenges and supporting the team to achieve targets
- Dealing with welfare and disciplinary investigations in line with company policy
- Supporting with pre-shift briefings supported by up-to-date KPI display and dialogue
- Reporting on key activity and any warehouse issues so matters can be resolved swiftly
- You will also support the Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager to ensure all key internal and external stakeholders are receiving the best service levels and all SLAs and KPIs are being hit.


Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have:

- WMS experience – (essential)
- Experience with Excel and managing workloads based on reporting (essential)
- Successful Previous experience in a Team Manager / Leader role (essential-minimum 3 years, and
accountability for a minimum of 6 people)
- Demonstrable experience in driving continuous improvement within a manual warehouse
- Experience working in an E-commerce environment (beneficial)
- Positive, Pro-Active approach to challenges (essential)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to problem solve and challenge decisions to ensure efficiency and top-quality service.
- A proven track record of people management and delivering targets and SLAs
- Exceptional work ethic and team spirit
- Flexibility in shift times would be advantageous to cover opening/closing where required
- Overtime (including weekends) would be required during key periods
- Any MHE experience (licenses) would be beneficial
- Flexible, able to adapt quickly to an ever-growing constantly changing environment
- Comfortable working under pressure.
