Warehouse Team Leader

MAK Jobs is currently recruiting an experienced Team Leader on behalf of a client.

Salary: £15.00 - £17.50 per hour 

Shift:  Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.30pm ( 5 days out of 7 will be required to work from June 2024 )

Location: Stafford, Staffordshire

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader looking to take on a new challenge and lead a team in a dynamic environment. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in a warehouse setting, ensuring efficient operations and order fulfilment.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a leadership role within a warehouse 

- Strong e-commerce experience and understanding of online retail operations

- Valid fork lift licenses 

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

-Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates to meet production goals and targets

-Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control

-Utilise e-commerce platforms to process orders and track shipments

-Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

-Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations

-Managing performance including conducting reviews and challenging poor performance -

-Understanding of scheduling and productivity 

-Ensure colleagues are trained and records maintained

- Communicating key messages and priorities with the team  

- Any other required duties
